@kairc I think we saw it in the few matches the author shown, Akutsu is now leading the whole team and is forced to instruct everyone when he only had to care about the defensive stability before, with that in mind he can't really lead everyone and the team is in a slump

@jackripper7 it's not aoi that made defense great, it's the 3rd years that got into pro and probably the mentality of the second years in charge with akutsu adjusting their levels for 1st years resulting in a diminishing in their skills

they might have let them use their usual offensive pattern to adjust from what they saw in video, then totally counter them by using probably a zonal defense and low block then going for long counter passes using akutsu going higher up to disrupt the defensive line It's a total guess, please...
