Agreed, I kinda think she just wanted him because he's "one of those dogs that became a human." She doesn't view Uruha as a pet but as a conversation piece.
Don't read "My Wife/Husband Has Taken Our Role-playing Too Far" then. It's actually a pretty good horror story, but it definitely made me feel weird when I listened to it on Creep Cast.
Your scanlations have improved since Chapter 9. Can I suggest redoing the ones before then? I've been rereading the series and they're definitely rough.
Page 11 is what made me realize this manga deserves an extra star just because of the art. It's so unique and just makes me laugh outside and cry inside
