You're being overly pedantic. Even Merriam-Webster, says the all y'all of us in North 'murica don't know the difference between a "podium" and "lectern" and use the terms interchangeably in most contexts.

I think the heroine's process for choosing a life partner is perfectly cromulent. If girl shared my profound feelings for Gunbuster the possibility of being the perfect partner seems pretty good.

I think he was expecting her to be "resurrected" not "replaced with a clone". It's one of those transporter paradox thingies. The fact that Haru doesn't see a distinction between "brought back to life" vs. "replaced with copy" shows that her way of thinking is completely "alien" (lololololol)...

This manga is weird. The premise (gyaru wants to tease an otaku) is very in line with the conventions of the medium, but the protagonists reactions to the gyaru's behavior are too much like "real life". The contrast is weirdin' me out.

How do your translations? I thought the rework of chapter 4 you did was pretty decent (much better than the other translation). I'd be willing to proofread, if that would be useful at all.

That was the part that confusing me! In chapter 1 it is established he's 27-year-old virgin. And then he isn't, and then 2 pages later he is again. I assume it is an error of some kind, but idk.

I'm sad because it is over, and also because the ending is kinda sad (and also hopeful) too. I liked this manga. It took a lot of clichés (harem, overly-nice-yet-still-pretty-generic MC, et cetera), and makes them work in a somewhat novel fashion without turning into a full on...

Kudos to the scanlator for bringing us this. I like it. It's like Death Note (and bunch of other stuff) only way better. I'm curious to see how this story will turn out. N is basically omnipotent (so long as there are electronics around), and isn't constrained by a bunch or arbitrary limitations...

Question: isn't violence against other players forbidden (black bullets don't count)? It's been a long time since I read the relevant chapters. I'm kinda confused as to how Shino's (or really anyone's) capacity for violence represents any kinda threat (asset, whatever) at all.
