So Umakin retaliated for Yuuma being slapped by his mom, attacked her in full-on horse form when she kept it away from him, then possessed Hina to return itself to Yuuma's side.

Yandere doll is definitely a thing, but I wonder why it had to possess Hina to return instead of magicking its way back to Yuuma like before.

i'm glad she's okay, she seems really sad thinking she lost the doll, good girl. so why is the dead guy keep staring that way? i don't think "wanting to go to school again" is enough answer for me

I think her stories are more wistful.
Agreed. Her stories feel more reflective, sentimental, with its eeriness enhanced by the vagueness of what the scary thing could imply.

I like to think that she told every bit of the story down to the protagonist's very thoughts. I'd be amazed to hear a story with that quality of narration from a girl who's barely ten lmao

I think he had feelings for the POV girl. She mentioned that she would sometimes walk down the bus path... and he would look out the window staring at her. That's why he always turns his head away from her now- because he doesn't want her to see his "bad side" while also reminiscing about how he used to watch her as he passed by. It would make sense then why POV girl is the only one who can see him.
