From what i can muster, it seems telling 100 horror stories is a ritual to summon a youkai or demon.

Having seen multiple occasions of supernatural event in MC’s life, the demons seems trying get him complete the ritual and remove the obstacle by offing the policeman and attacking the (step?)parent.

I hope Hina didn’t get dragged into the horrors to come.

Reread back the first chapter, it seems Hina is the one telling MC about the ritual. Hmmmmmmm

Hina is so precious, i hope everything will be alright.
the slave guy tied his head to the door but the body still does what it was taught to do and accidentally ripped it's own head off, without head it couldn't think of answering the phone and all it does is going to where the "owner" is, it doesn't intend to kill it's owner or anything, just doing what it was taught to do, i think

To think that the last thing that bullied kid heard was the ringing of his phone, the sound of his daily bullying, as the last sound he ever heard before his body wrenched off his head when it took off. And that was the only way he could think of freeing himself. gives me chills.

Even after seeing what Yuuma wanted to hide the most, Hina still returned to help. That sort of kindness makes me wonder, is there way out of this where both are unscathed?

But damn, the post-death Pavlov behavior unnerved me. Sure, the "he learned it all the way down into a reflex" was taken literally, but he always seemed to stop just before the master.

...I had a lot of questions beforehand, but nevermind. He DID stop before the master, a consistent ~2 feet of horizontal distance. It didn't matter that the master kept stepping away because it will keep walking to close the gap. Once he's at the required distance then that's where the Pavlov decapitated body stood still, except the master himself was now a pile of mush four storeys down.

Now, I'm confused as to how the fck that body managed to sever its own head so cleanly. Maybe he did a windmill to twist himself off. The head is still hanging too, damn.
