As much I am in denial that Power has died killed by Makima but wasn't he said Power will get shredded by Denji instead killed by Makima.

Similarly, Chainsaw man/chainsaw devil is extremely feared by devils, which is where he gets his power. To combat this, Makima made Chainsaw man into a celebrity and a hero in the human world. Thus, Chainsaw man is weakened since he isn't feared by humans anymore.

I can kinda understand why people are confused. When these chapters are released on a weekly basis you kinda forget what’s going on. Reading it all at once really makes things more coherent.
