I feel moderately sad for him. His friends should know that he was raised in the slums and has practically no common sense outside of adventuring. He honestly doesn’t know what love or dating is and just got a bunch of scornful looks for his troubles. Not like he ever had anyone to teach him. On the other hand sexual urges are a natural tendency (so easily discovered by anyone), and he probably heard about the brothel a lot where he grew up. Someone should have realized this and honestly discussed it with him; instead of this just being a comedy chapter with him getting the short end of the stick for his ignorance. The way this chapter is portrayed, he doesn’t have the best of friends. Then again he asked little girls that so maybe it’s on him, but at least Veronica should have realized or like anyone that knew he was an idiot, before he said it out loud

Agreed, growing up in the slums and I forget he didn’t have parents right? Without anyone it’s understandable his lack of common sense. Anyone would be clueless in those circumstances. No books, tv, role model. It’s amazing how much can be understood by simply watching how parents interact with you and each other. All he had was instinct and viewing adults talk about and go to the brothel. Oh but maybe he could have grabbed something from songs...though that would be only if people actually sung in the slum vicinity.
