I am going to call out the author for portraying rape like it's a freaking love story.
Page 8: having the MC on top of the the rapist when she was the one who drugged him into unconscious. Did he think he was dreaming and let the lizzard part of his brain take over?!
She should have been on top of him because she dominated him and stole something from him without consent.

Sorry, feminists and female empowerment supporters: he didn't drug himself, he didn't drag himself to his bed and take off his clothes and her clothes and he didn't willingly consent to be her excuse for breaking her engagement.

She might be cute but getting date raped by Ryan Gosling is still getting raped.
There is still psychological trauma: he should never be able to trust her again. I would never eat or drink anything she gave me. I would even lock my door when sharing an inn.

I want to clarify something...
I am not as triggered or bothers by the rape thing as people might think.

I will just be bothered because I know that it's going to be portrayed as: "she is hot. He should feel lucky that she did it to him."

I feel like if the roles were reversed, everyone would think of him as a scumbag even if he was hot, but because she is a woman and even a pretty woman, everyone is just going to ignore it and even shame him if he called her out...

This inequality in treatment is what bothers me and everyone else here.

In fact, I am actually a bit surprised by what I pressume is: the reaction of feminists or female empowerment supporters here. You wanted men to be more aware of the "rape culture", well there you go! They are much more aware of it! Now you are shaming them when they call it out without bias?
But I bet it's different when it's one of you, isn't it?
