It's a slice-of-life anime, characters don't really need to do anything here. Although I understand that you don't take Manbagi's feelings for Tadano seriously, since she doesn't act on them, while she seems the sort of person who should be able to do so if she was serious..

and yet eveyrone hated her at first because of her Yamanba make up. It was a sin to have her remove it.

Her gyaru-speak needed the toning down it seems to have gotten, but people were being way too judgy about her makeup both in the series and in the comment section. It sounded like her three gyaru friends weren't exactly team Yamanba make up either, but they got to know her enough to understand what it was to her. You don't have to like all of a person's fashion choices to like them as a person. Regardless, that make up was not long for this world just because it looked like a pain to draw lol.

Heh... Page 7 has a wildly variable mood. If, like the author apparently intended, you take the second panel to contain all the conversation and schedule planning that wasn't spelled out, it's warm and sweet.

If, however, you are me, you initially read it as "So you have a lot of free time too?" followed by a panel of long, uncomfortable silence and Manbagi trying to get off the phone as quickly as possible. Much darker take on the page. (It's quite incompatible with the rest of the chapter, so I did figure it out eventually.)
