So... wait...
The whole story about the guy in a bird costume becoming a monster is based on him being unable to remove the costume.
However if you cannot remove a costume normally and you were fired from the job anyway then you would simply try to rip the costume apart to get out of it, right?
I assumed so far that he could not do that because the costume fused with him.
That would have explained that he could not remove it by ripping it apart because it would be like ripping himself apart.
But now in this chapter we are told that the guy could have easily gotten off that costume by simply ripping it apart the whole time.
In that case however he would have done so before he would have ever turned into a monster to begin with.
Talk about destroying the whole setup with the final "genius" development.
I like OPM but this final conclusion of a battle could have seriously been better planned instead of destroying the whole reason for the costume wearer to become a monster in the first place in a single page.
