This feels like going nowhere and nothing was achieved in terms of relationships. The author showed with Nino that he can create very satisfying plot twists and developments but... maybe it was just a fluke? Bummer. I hoped for more of that quality and bold ideas. There was a lot of potential.

I just realized that Watamote has a much better harem-like (yuri) romance and it’s not even in the genre.

Nisekoi at least had some kind of “adventure”, it wasn’t on the level of The world God only knows, but things felt important.

When the author struggle to make character development that is a bit better than something out of a soft porn like To Love Ru then you know it’s not a good situation.

Tl;dr this manga is like Yotsuba...she is so nice, but wait, who is she anyway?

I really love this manga, but damn i hope the ending is as good as the plot. I don't want experience the same thing with oreimo (the ending is the worst), oreimo and gotoubun is the only harem manga that i really like to the point of obsession, if this one is ended with the worst girl or making any of the quintuplet/heroine sad (just like oreimo) it will truly be a painful and sad story that make the readers angry.

I still hope negi doesn't make a mistake about the end girl...

For harem genre, the first girl who meet the MC is usually (if not always) the overal winner. It's a typical trend that sometimes can be really boring to watch. I hope that Go toubun will end up with a different path, because the characters development of the 5 are equally amazing so far. Letting the first-met girl win like any typical harem as this point seems to be very unfair and heartbreaking for the others.

@Dannytran I agree, let's not have Itsuki win this. My opinion is that Itsuki, while being the first to know the MC, is the slowest in character development. Also, Nino in Gotoubun is T-34 in War Thunder. Powerful, unstoppable, and most importantly, absolutely biased.

Nino- Best hair. Doesn’t hold back. A great example of what the girls need to be doing at this point in the manga.
Miku- best fluff. Love girls with headsets
Ichigo- best oneesan/yandere. She’s about to self destruct
Itsuki- first girl. We all know what that means.
Yotsuba- a real shame. The author doesn’t give her the attention she deserves

Binged read this the past 2 days. Probably my favorite Harem manga. There isn't really any trash girls imo, and my rankings of them as who I want to end up with MC keeps switching throughout the show. Based on tropes, Itsuki seems to have the best chance, although the author can do a full asspull and end with Yotsuba (even with the least character development) by having her be "watching him and supporting him over all this time." That kiss scene on episode 68 seems to be something Itsuki, Miku, or Ichika would pull. My current ranking is Miku > Itsuki > Nino > Yotsuba > Ichika, although Itsuki and Nino are basically neck to neck for me.

I also think that line "I started to think she was special" doesn't really hold any candle since he did say afterwards he can't tell who she was after all.
