We all know that In Japan harem ending is literally impossible with these types of stories it starts out "harem" ish but then gradually falls apart until the author decides who the ending chick is going to be and judging from all the past " harem" manga ( Noiskoi) it's shown that the 1st girl always wins no matter what. Though the ride is good and juicy I've stopped predicting whats going to happen in these types of stories because it seems to be highly taboo for anything else but only one girl to win.

I usually find this to be the case unless the whole plot was designed for a literal harem end at the finish of the story. In 5toubun's case the whole set up from the 1st chapter, starting from the first panels with the unknown bride, to the chapter's ending with all sisters introduced and Fuutarou foreshadowing the chaos to come to the reader, is either a big fat red herring or just a teaser of something that would truly live up to the name of the title. More recently Negi has been dropping ambiguous hints as well but doesn't make it look like it's going to be ONE of the sisters, but possibly all of them, even though they are ambiguous teasers.

Not to trample on the "harem ending" ideas, but take into consideration that this runs in Weekly Shounen Magazine, so it's highly unlikely that it would promote polygamy to the teens. From all the titles from the magazine I have read, unless I'm forgetting something, never even once I have witnessed a definite harem ending. An open ending is not a harem ending by the way, and that also pretty much out of the question here, unless Fuutarou runs away from the altar.

So instead of thoughts like "This will be a failure, if it doesn't end with a harem, cause I started reading because of that!", try to adjust your expectations to something like "It would be so good, if this ends up with a harem, but I should only expect that possibility with caution, so if it's doesn't happen, it won't let me down that much."
