I hope you rike it. Haha..
Also friendly reminder 235 have always been designed as fillers even before the serialization.

@Bootybug
What are you talking about?
Nisekoi ending is great,

The point where All the girls got pregnant and MC married all of them is a perfection.

I only read the first chapter, the last chapter, and a couple of doujinshi.
What a satisfying ride it was, and probably best romcom ending to date.

Although it was already predicted in Nibun no Yuudou.

Man this was so good up until the school festival arc. It's a shame how poorly this ended. While I wanted Miku to win, Yotsuba winning would have been fine if the ending just wasn't so wack

Wowies, such a lame ending for such a good story and if you think that bride is the only problem it's really not, last volume is really rushed, and final chapters gives almost none of closure to alot of little details that made this story so good.

Exactly, I was saying this for quite some time. Even Yotsuba ending which was off (handled by flashbacks and no development at all after) and rushed would be better, because it would be closure at least...
Author played around "who bride is" a lot like we could conclude who it is from clues. After all hints were just pointless (bell kiss, drink, holding hands), because author used just flashbacks in last 3/4 chapters to explain them and point to Yotsuba.

And now well he takes even it away with weak open ending...
He played safe almost entire plot without picking final girl faster and making some developments. He wanted to keep all fans happy by choosing Yotsuba so late in story and now wants to keep it safe again with open ending.

I get that it was his first long manga and serialization, that he was tired and wanted to end it fast. But honestly I was expecting something more at least...

its not a open ending and its not a dream at all,
how can he dream about yotsuba remember her mother word? word fuutarou dont even know. plus the paneling (and the sister talk) are pretty clear, he's just remebering a similar event happen after the graduation, so after he was already together with Yotsuba... and use it to show the difference between past and present through the face expression of the character
, we have a bride (and plus they are together for 5 years and they also live together) read it better please. I agree is a bit rushed, but its not a "open ending" at all.

@MrF0x, author really tried to hint
Yotsuba
as subtle as possible, giving her
1st kiss, 1st date, every major "fate" sign
but she literally had low chemistry with mc, as much as some banana or other food of his. Even
Nino
looked better in comparing, and she had stopped progressing 50(!) chapters ago.
Same with major foreshadowing you mentioned - half of those literally didn't work, and is mentioned post-factum to serve as justification rather than a clue. Dreaded "subverting" tropes are basicly x1 promised girl, x2 childhood friend (yeah yeah
Takebayashi
is one, so is she), x3 fated girl, all of this just to fuck with
Itsuki who was forced by editor to become tittle girl, and in the ending literally became Yotsuba 2.0 for same reasons Yotsuba 1.0 was pictured as "suffering", Ichika neglected till the very end, and only Miku getting resolution of some degree, while still paired with Nino, for reasons...
It's like last volume is written a somebody entirely else to only got to read a sceleton of story, last chapter is "trying" to justify something, but really is just weak ending to weak final. Good luck in next work Negi.

interesting fact today Aka Akasaka the mangaka of kaguya love is war, talk about Hanayome in an interview:

"Speaking of story endings, Negi Haruba-sensei announced that his romcom series The Quintessential Quintuplets will be ending in volume 14, which has attracted a lot of attention.
Aka: That's right. When I saw that, I thought, “You traitor! Keep going!” (laughs).
It was another weekly series, so I saw it as a rival, but I was also a big fan myself.
It’s finally becoming clear who the bride is.
Aka:From a mangaka’s point of view, I thought the bride had to be a certain someone right from the start, and it just became more and more clear as the series continued.
I got to watch another mangaka develop a story and its characters, and I really felt like I could put myself in Negi Haruba-sensei’s shoes. Man, It’s really coming to an end. I’ll miss it."
------------

personaly i agree with him,
Yotsuba choise
was clear from long ago, people are just a lot delusional and they dont want to see the reality.

@Soracifer you're advocating for wrong stuff, the problem is not the choice of bride, it's that the one who is chosen, literally had nothing in story to go about, take a "bride" away from her and every other character is developed better and has better "chances". Character solely developed to be bride and nothing else, her dream is "bride" literally.
