Honestly, I'll miss this series. It's been a brilliant story to read, a breath of fresh air amongst harem stories. And while I might have been a Miku fan, and still wish she could have won, alas I was still happy for Yotsuba in the end.

At least it's over but I'll never call that genius. That's just lazy and lame. You can't write a harem series that you don't want to be a harem and shit us with a "I want to statisfy everyone". Even choosing Yotsuba for this "example of how it could end" feels like an asspull. Only reason said by Futs is that she was the 1st he met. OK, so all the things that happened in all the years after don't matter AT ALL. And what's with this 6 YEARS dream, not a dream with jump cuts but a dream with actual memories and story progression. This is not a fantasy manga where everything is possible. Imo author just lost his balls by not wanting to make a real harem and assume that it would be the only way to "satisfy everyone" that would make sense. In fact Negi didn't even took upon himself that one of the girl won. Smh You did shit right at the end when it was good, rip ig. Hopefully we can say this is not of the level of Hoshino Me O Tsubutte.

PS: Oh and yeah ABSOLUTELY no shown kiss in the entire series, not even for the wedding like Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet did.

Using "dreams" to make it all vague and confusing, sheesh. I have no idea what's going on. The manga didn't even show them kissing the bride, one of the most iconic parts of the wedding... if the actual wedding even happened!

But oh boy, all five girls in a honeymoon huh. I could live with that. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Just with the fact that this is a harem manga, where all of the girls are given good character development, but in the end only one is chosen, but all of the other girls still get perfect closure, it deserves to be called a masterpiece. 10/10, would recommend.
Not to mention that Yotsuba herself is a perfect choice, because even between Miku's supporters, Nino's supporters and Ichika's supporters(Itsuki was never a choice), everybody respected Yotsuba and with that final ribbon scene she gets a perfect close on her character development as well.
