Damn this story gets so real at times.
My highschool friends get weirded out by me when I call out to them like how we did even though highschool was 10 years ago and we haven't seen each other in at least a year. They get all nostalgic with me and are amazed at how out going I am now compared to back then.
Little do they know that I treasure them differently as they have a special place in my memories as I feel closer to them than many of the people I met in and after college.

No offense to any shippers, but *this* is why I read this manga. Romance is good, but Komi-san is ultimately about a young girl doing her best to overcome her literally crippling social anxiety (and sometimes that applies to her friends too).

So fucking stop whining about literally anything that is not Komi x Tadano.
