I don see why she try to explain the mess up. She know that he is nicer than he appears. She had the whole realization that black knight was nice and to not judge based on his looks or that one night. I mean I am happy since i prefer cold dark characters but I wish for her to be happy and she likes the white knight. I can't even hate on the white knight since he has been nothing but kind the MC and over the last 40 chapter through their interactions, I could see him falling for her. White knight is honestly better for MC. More interactions and better connection. I thought the trope might be fun, but it is not when the white knight fits MC better than black knight.
