I don't know yorukoi personally, but the way he try take over this fan translate is kinda wholesome.
Either he didn't want to be called snipe or he don't want to rude to other translator. But he did the right thing...
He asks the forum first in ch181 id if it's alright if he put English chapter in here. And some reader told him to say "hi" to previous translator. (I bet you don't do that and I don't know if yorukoi message to previous to translator)
But you can see he had small joke with other previous translator about sniping in ch162. And ch163, Luigi make a comment and he didn't look upset (of course I didn't know if yorukoi have conversation with Luigi) but this is feel like a wholesome take over.

Wonderful that he is a nice guy. It’s good that his work style resonates with you, but I translate for myself and publish because others might want to read too. Honest to god. While I don't think it's good translation quality wise, the way some people act is actually childish.

Like some of y'all instead of being constructive actually just insulted the guy when they've clearly explained their reason. I've read and this one back 2 and while things like Yuri having "lol" in her text was off putting it's a fine enough job. If you aren't being constructive, you'll be just the same as why BB said they might stop uploading to mangadex.

There would have been no drama or potential fallout or disruption of community efforts if established etiquette wasn't breached. Because things like this, barging in and dropping quick MTLs with basically no editing on chapters people were waiting for, causes problems. It makes people's work feel undervalued. It makes translators go "well shit, now nobody will read my work cause they already know how it goes." You end up with people yelling at each other and translators giving up and readers having poor quality work being the way they experience things. Nobody wins. Nobody's happy. Everything gets worse for no reason.

It's not childish. It's the behavior of people who've watched the outcome of this shit over and over.
