I mean, I don't expect that "Smoke out the fake and roast them into charred smoke bacon" line after reading it on google lens. It is a testament of your fine work.

But going forward, you might be right – i’ll just trust my instinct(?) more and take only what i think really need to be done.

Don't really think too hard about it really. Your scanlation works are still far better than most amateurs that use Google Lens/ChatGPT, and typos can easily be fixed with quick compare+rereads.

And sometimes even the critics can be narrowminded, like the pantsu = pants thing a few chapters ago which is actually correct because it's a Japanese loanword from British-English for underwear but us who are more familiar to Americanglish is more accustomed to panties instead.
And many TLers have different translations for Mesu (Female Beast), you translated it as Feminine, HeatManga translated it as Female in Heat, I myself would just simply render it as Slut.
