I can't think of any other "reincarnated as a character" series where NPCs actually catch on or where the MC admits they're not the original character. Very interested in how this plays out.

The closest I can think of is Pride in Last Boss Queen, but that's quite different than what we've got going here.
I believe in Reborn All Routes Lead to Doom second version when Catarina gets swapped with monkey girl
Prince Geordo does recognize this 180 in personality and guesses something has happened.

The father is really well made as an absolute trash who only remember his daughter when his life is going to end :shamihuh:

But i didn't expect that he would understand that she wasn't the original Lunaria i guess he was not totally useless but like she said it is way too late :pepehmm:
dude gonna die not knowing what actually happened to his daughter.

Also is this meeting made secret because she plan to overthrow the current King?

remember, she said she wanted to make an enemy not of "the king" but of "the world"

probably a blessing in disguise, at least he can cling to some hope of being wrong instead of knowing he directly led to his daughter killing herself because her life sucked that much

The artworks reminded me of 'Victoria Winner Ostwen Ouhi wa Sekai de Ichiban Erasou de Aru' but turns out, they are the same artists.

Try "Kill The Villainess". It's a decent story, not groundbreaking or anything, but it's good. However there's one scene later in the story (ch 77-79) where that happens that I think is done better than I've ever seen it done.

Dad probably inhaled the stepmother's gaslight chamber so hard he became Bane.

As this is an adaptation, did anyone read the original work?
If so, could we have some spoilers pretty please?

Sure, why not? Keep in mind, this is using the WN as source, although I thoroughly approve of this addition and change from the WN.

As has already been noted, there wasn't a fight. He did the normal abusive dumb noble dad thing of yelling loudly while attempting to evade responsibility, and he got fucked for it. However, it should be noted that she didn't outright say she wasn't Lunaria until later, and he (childhood friend) didn't outright ask.

However, this would have happened next chapter regardless, because these are not only the other children of the Four Great Duke Families of the kingdom, they are all people who knew Lunaria well, and they are all powerful nobles. In the WN, she correctly thinks "Lying to these people would not only be counterproductive, it would get me killed."

So she spills the beans. The whole shebang, including the otome game aspect.

They just take it in their stride with only a few questions, are sad over OG Lunaria's death, and resolve to move forward.

Lol. Not telling. But it's not hard to work out, it's awesome, keep reading this series, because we're already in endgame, and you're going to absolutely love how this pans out.

So there we go. Your spoilers.

There's one I forget the name of, but a big twist was everyone else actually knew long ago the MC switched with the original (the original was stuck being in a time loop of dying, eventually tricked parents into taking her on a walk in a forest which had this shrine, she cast some forbidden magics she learned during one of the loops, and pulled MC in because maybe she'd have better luck, and it gets the original out of it anyway.) but never said anything until there was no point in keeping up the charade.

This's kind of weird, now i consider there's something that forced the story and all.

I wonder where it goes from here. Lunaria seems to have taken revenge on everyone who's wronged her already.

How The Villainess Becomes A Saint, maybe?

Only one I can find that has that specific plot device.

I’m surprised he believed the father after all that. He barged into the throne room and attacked the king, queen, and his own daughter, that hardly seems sane.

It was the final words that seemed most coherent and sane that likely did it.
