Yeah... I found that a little off too. If she lost her memories and didn't know what was going on.. was just getting eaten not kinda killing off someone innocent?

For once, we see the supposed heroine turned villain get actually killed, no second chances and no risk of future problems. Also, with the sacred beast killing Mana not only Lunaria's hands remain clean, it could also be seen as a divine punishment.

On another note, does anyone know any titles in which an evil saintess has her powers taken away by the god of that universe? I'd like to see a proactive god that stops the evil from happening.

Great manga, I loved the variety and battle of wits, Mana's fate truely was poetic. In the end, all she did was try to create trouble which came back to bite her in the ass, just like how the syringe meant for Lunaria ended up screwing her over. Hoping the other chapters get translated too.

There's something exceptionally gruesome about it even if I know she deserved it.

Ending is a little hurried; but at least they didn't needlessly drag out the final fight with 10 rounds of "this isn't event my final form" and/or "I guess I'll fight seriously" and/or "don't look down on me!".

Otherwise, a very satisfying read. I enjoyed this one.

that last few pages with the thorn around her arm indicates the "demon lord" is still attached to her in some way. Giving the end page i guess there will be another title continuing the story.

I do remember one manga, where a light king, removed the "protags" and gave it to the main character, however it got scrutinized, by making her dark skin white, so you could say it was whitewashing. And twitter took note of this.
