If you wanna wear high heels on a date and you think you're gonna walk around a lot, bring those heel/feet blister band-aids. While I don't exactly wear high heels, I do wear shoes that tend to chafe my foot and those things are a godsend. You wanna be fashionable? Fine, but you gotta take care of yourself too.

Kinda find idea of hurting oneself for fashion, odd...

Wedges and platforms are also a great option. Still tall but more comfort. I stepped on soft ground in stilettos once and sank. Been scared ever since.

The history of heels and fashion goes weirdly along the lines of tb and butchers and then riding. You can see how their origins relate to horse riding and stirrups, then men would wear them during different eras to appear taller and thusly more formidable. They would be more akin to heeled shoes and boots rather than heels.

Women wore them on the advent of the hygiene history of TB, where the idea of being "closer to the ground" was seen as dirty and clothes dragging along the floor would grab those germs. The showing of the ankle and calf and then the accenutation of the calf and leg brought it into the advent of more stylized for the appearance of it.

TLDR: Horseback riding -> Butchery/Taller men ego -> Fashionable for women due to TB

But there were many many factors

Meaning, it's even more pointless now.

Still find people purposely inflicting harm or discomfort, just to fit in or appear better in society and putting it higher regards than SO's care about health along with word they're perfect as they are.

But isn’t she into sports? I think the first 2 chapters we see her playing sports so naturally she’d be pretty toned
But that's not to train your body. What I meant was to practice in a serious way. Also, it must be sports that demand having strength on your upper body like weightlifting or swimming.

Some women just have broad shoulders?
broad shoulder maybe. Shoulders broad as a man's? most likely not, except in cases of hormonal problems.

Hopefully she doesn't have those Brie Larson toes, and can actually wear fancy high heels without looking like a goblin in drag.

I feel like the author doesn't know how to draw a girl that is masculine. This FMC has certain characteristics that only men, or women that train their body have, like broad shoulders.
Well, she does sports, so the second part might be true. Could also be that she is the exception and the difference is intentional.

Just doing sports isn't enough, you need to do sports as seriously as a professional. Maybe not exactly like a professional, but you would need to take it seriously. Only certain sports develops the chest, like swimming and weight lifting. Also, She clearly doesn't have the defined physic that a serious athlete has.
maybe I'm nitpicking but the girl could at least have an ounce of feminine traits.

There's women like that and a part the "loud type" that was bastardised in media, they're ultimately adorable.
