So that's why. Yeah it's not very likely, but I've seen some strays that were fed by other people so they've grown accustomed to other strangers but mostly when they want food lol. They don't sit on my lap (mostly because there are no benches where they chill) but they do swirl around my feet and rubbing their pheromones with their cheeks

I've had that happened to me a few times, mostly with kittens but it happened once with a fully grown cat. with the adult one, it turned out that they already had an owner and waaay too extroverted, so they just kinda sit on everyone who sits near their house.
