@Chisako I reckon that at this point it's about Athy's adjustment to a new environment and learning to accept the good will of those around her, while also letting her realize she can depend on others so she can actually catch a break. It's just very slow pacing, is all. It seems like nothing is happening, but if this was made by a different author then three or so chapters would instead be condensed into one with about the same amount of pages. This author, however, seems to really like slow paced, 8 page chapters. Might be best to wait a bit then binge read a handful of chapters all at once if you feel like it's dragging on too much. I'm honestly considering doing that myself, but for now I'm keeping up with the releases.
