Thought it was Korean due to the quality of the art, the type of story it was telling, and the lack of cultivation.
Was pleasantly surprised to find that it was Chinese.

The art is good, the story is interesting with a main character who the reader can root for. Also, none of the typical Chinese meridians and martial arts nonsense with the strange and off putting sense of humor that sticks out at times.

Oh my god. Usually chinese manhuas are bad and I tend to steer clear against them. But this one really stood out to me and read the whole thing.

The art is really well drawn and the story is quite good too. You should definitely give this one a check if you're like me.

This is quite wonderful (Nothing new, per se, but quite good execution). Though, I'm going to be careful to let a good number more chapters come out before reading more—it takes its time in getting from moment to moment and the pacing is quite graceful, but the result is that each chapter by itself does not get very far.

This is a very nice chinese manhua. It's not fast paced (or weirdly paced), there's no exagerrated comical scenes with a lot of screaming, and best of all, no rape and an abusive ML! Hallelujah!
