Usually I end up feeling like the "first life stern, second life pampering," dad's are enormous failures. Like oh, you can be a good dad as long as your kid is a grown adult in a child's body. That's useless.

Frr, its so annoying. Even more annoying when they have a bio kid thats grown up fine and healthy and is kind to the mc in both lives, like you can do good so why aren’t you trying for the child you willingly adopted???
