P.S. This is a wholesome romcom with a twintailed Miku (Sakura) for our semi-tsun FMC.

As a vocaloid fan, the similarities to a certain Miku feel like I'm living the dream for every chapter I read (and now, re-read). It's pure diabetes.

The bad part about reading a crap ton of school life rom-com is that you start predicting tropes that might come true. The two tropes that I absolutely despise are the "MC-kun is not looking at me therefore I will make him jealous by having fun with another boy" and the "FMC-chan is hanging out with another boy. I must stalk them to see there is nothing weird going on". There is also the addition of another girl thus making it a triangle, which is honestly garbage. This is why when rom-coms don't do that, I hold them in extremely high regards. For example, Horimiya.

It's been only three chapters but let's see where this goes.

I'm liking this so far, but my issue with these types of stories is that they ultimately end up turning into "This Main Character is a loner with no friends who likes video games and anime and doesn't know how to properly socialize (who is totally not my self insert) and this is his girlfriend who loves his 0 redeeming qualities for 0 reason!"
That kind of wish fulfillment stuff just shatters my suspension of disbelief y'know?

Fortunately, despite him being a loner, he's rather wholesome and sincere when it comes to his actions. Especially when she was at his lowest when he didn't even have a thought of romance, nor liking her. Just because their social standings are completely different and he does "loner" activities doesn't make him a self-insert. The fact that he's taking initiative instead of letting her do all the flirting and actually react to her outside of the love game (like laughing at her reaction moving back last chapter) or making a bento box already proves otherwise no?
