For next chapter,
I’m not sure the first thing in Mimi’s head is blackmailing. It’s probably just “WTF is that!?”. It’s too sudden and out of nowhere for her.
I think Takuto started dating her because of inferiority too. Mimi got interested because she heard the stories from Riku.
For Takuto, that makes it look like Mimi is another of Riku’s girl, and he wants to win.
It’s less vile as wanting to ruin Riku’s happiness, but just a childish not wanting to lose.

So I tried to use google translate on the next chapter
it seems he asked her to not tell MC they were dating
It's pretty clear she tried to emulate Minase to appeal to Takt because he dumped her for Minase
I'm less inclined to expect blackmail and instead I expect her wanting to use it as ammo to attempt to break up Takt and Minase like anonymously snitch to the guy

Yeah I saw it in raw, which is why I was saying that, it seems to be a similar "friend is purposely trying to steal any girl that gets close to MC" type story.

I bet will this just turn into a "feeling" drama fest. The only thing this story wants to give you is the feeling of cheating so nothing will make sense and no one will have a clear motive or even a clear want. A story as bland as a hentai with no porn attached.

What I mean is cheating is the theme of the story and the only thing that matters. No matter what happens in this story it will most likely stay the same way that it is now no matter how convoluted it gets to hold on to this theme. That means our characters are just a bunch of props and designs to fill their rolls and nothing more.

So going back to the start I noticed some things I missed.
So all in all writing that out, I still feel like too many pieces of the puzzle are missing but overall it's pretty trashy lol
1. The inciting incident seems to be the Cafe date they have in ch1, as Minase comes to Riku's place with tears in her eyes. We can take an assumption this was when the event Takt says caused something to happen in ch5 and when Takt messages Minase is when we see the first instance of dead eyes which she didn't have before this.
2. It's clear from Minases chat with Riku post phone call that it must have been something major and that Takt knew when he couldn't contact Minase she was at Riku's place.
3. In chapter 2 we see Minase seeming to go out of her way to be overt on her preference and not caring if Takt see's (So again why not just leave him? I do't understand this part at all). When she locks Riku inside the house her eyes have gone back to being dead (This happens several times over the chapter and I'm not sure if it means something or a art choice).
4. In Chapter 3 we get what I think is a hint at what he did wrong at the cafe. Riku mentions Takt is bad at waiting and this causes him to twitch and respond "Your right" quietly. In Ch4 after the clear cliffhanger of Takt clearly knowing somethings up, and into the start of ch4 we get a clear Takt saying that "they're going their seperate ways" which is clearly with the panels that follow a declaration that even their friendship is seperating or will.
5. Ch5 is the outright "I wanna date you Riku" lines (Again I dunno why she doesn't leave Takt for Riku at this point this is why I feel like theres something we don't know yet and she might be using Riku for something). This is also the chapter we get the clue Takt did something on "that" day (Prolly the cafe date day) and that when Minase also hears Takt say this I'm not sure if it's to get Riku to forget what he heard or distract him but then we get the first true Cheat action suprise kiss and ends up running off crying (More evidence maybe that something something is up).
6. Ch6 hasn't got much to it tbh, mostly what we already know but when I read this I thought it was Minase giving the headpillow treatment lol.
7. Ch7 though is a huge WTF burger. The intro of Umimi is a big deal in many ways and breaks some of the writing. I honestly feel she was an afterthought and not originally planned. We get the info it's been 2 years since she was last seen. We get a girl who's changed into Minase's everything cause she loves Takt and Takt clearly loves Minase probably since they first met.
This is when we learn she's Takt's ex and while as far as I've seen she wanted it kept secret (I dunno why) I just cannot imagine Takt/Minase/Riku hiding something like that from each other.

I have a feeling both girls are using Riku as a way to get back at Takt for breaking their hearts (new girl for getting her heart broken by Takt and Minase for whatever happened with Takt before). I hope thats not the case cuz that would be a really shitty thing to do to the MC as i want one of them to actually fall in love with the MC for real, but i have an assumption both girls are just trying to get back at Takt and really LIKE/LIKED him.
