the constant POV switches between the audience, Akane, and Death in the first ~half all building up to big panel where Death pulls Akane and the entire room into the cave filled with candles is so cool, not sure if I love that panel or the 2-page spread of the entire crowd ignoring the ship captain's announcement more lol (big fan of the callback to the "Shiguma could kill with rakugo" anecdote with the latter page too)

and the "What is Death to you?" page at the end... been waiting for something like that since the arc started lol, excited to finally get her answer to this question

I am still wondering if they are going to mention something more about the western origins of the God of Death. After all, it was based on, apparently, how the west sees death. So, I imagined a more impartial death. An angel that sees all life the same, that doesn't feel anything for anyone. To reap the souls of the living as a matter of fact. A real phenomenon, a for of nature. There's no glory or shame in death. I guess, this is sort of the point so far, with the god looking creepy, and inhuman. But when she's asked "what is Death to you?" Is her answer for Rakugo the same answer as in the West, or she gonna put her own experience on it? She spent 3 years in France, it makes me wonder if she's gonna bring a little bit more of that.

Or maybe, none of that matters anymore. I just thought we would see a little more of the clash of cultures, and the story sort of represents, as an adaptation of a western story.

I need the next chapter now!
