I am sorry but please do clarify which website are you referring to? Which website are you using to read the Novel? There's simply no way, a Japanese author drops into a western website comment section to interact with westerners and listen to their opinion. You are describing science fiction right now. At best authors interact with their fanbases on X and only when fans go out of their way to post stuff in Japanese. Surely you are misinterpreting or misunderstanding something.

He mentions a WN site in his first comment, which sure, it’s not the official site of the novel, it is also not the site he said the JP comments he read were from. If anything, the first comment and the reply to your message doesn’t seem overly connected in that way at all. Hence why I’m a bit unsure why you think the JP comments couldn’t be from the official channels.

Okay 3 things:
A) when somebody posts a website where the material we are discussing are posted and translated and then he proceeds talking about how the comments were not favourable etc, why would you not assume he's talking about the website he originally posted?
B) If he was specifically talking about Japanese comments from the official website for the franchise or X, then why wouldn't he explicitly mention his source?
C) um you do realise this is like a year ago right? The guy didn't bother replying to debunk any of assumptions or answer my questions. Why bother defend him now? Lol,

Love it so far, but one thing the story is based off a game in the guys old world, all I'm gonna say is WTF is up with that game scenario damn it's messed up ass game lol

So it's good but...how is this rated over a 9? Compared to the average isekai/LN adaptation trash, maybe, but for the most part it's pretty standard stuff. Guy adopts kids who instantly love him and he turns into an over the top doting parent, a black and white morality where the antagonists are cartoonishly evil so the MC can just kill them in droves while sidestepping any notion of mercy or compassion, generic world, characters that are fine but yet to have any great depth to them, pretty standard plot with nothing notable to write home about.....it's really nothing special. It's too well executed to be written off as generic slop, but as is this doesn't feel like it deserves more than an 8.

well i think that many people have the same taste as me. I love wholesome love story: romance, family, etc. Yes it is quite generic but i can't stop myself from loving these kinds of stories.

Why not?? Particularly Aria née is not actually too young and she has clearly shown that she is interested in him. I would find it amusing if the village girl joins them as "wife" and there's drama between her and Aria for his affections.

Calm down you clown, I wasn't aware she was 12 at the time (12 not 13 BTW) I have pretty much corrected myself in subsequent comment sections.

It’s a pretty good and cute series. It’s not spectacular, but the art is done well and the scenes are set right.
Though I do feel like a lot of the coolness the main character is lost with the isekai shit and being overly self-aware.
I felt like it could’ve just been a facet of his character where he gives no fucks but loves to take care of orphans in a fantasy setting, but Is the reincarnation shit really necessary to the story?

On another site ( I don't know rules about links so i wont type it out) the same group have posted 1 new full chapter, uploaded on 17th of July, and a half chapter mini story labeled 15.5 (that does not have an ending. May come later or the site i read it on had it cut off)
