It’s kinda crazy how tight you are. Say what you want about Disney’s takes on fairy tales. Least the SA & cannibalism is removed. For the most part. Can’t really say the same for blatant murder.

I think the author failed to understand the task. There is no villainess or "villainess" or even villain in this story. Everybody is broadly supportive of everybody, nobody does anything bad, nobody suffers any punishment, it really doesn't belong in this series at all.

Reading this chapter got me feeling...lobotomized.

Anyone else detect the "twist" from page one? The character description page always features the main couple, there hasn't been any yuri in this anthology so far (that I remember), and having a male lead crossdress seems way more common than having two female leads at once in this type of story.

Glad things are looking brighter for the translator though. I hope that keeps up.

I feel like it should be brought up again that all of these stories are adaptions of writings from syosetu. Which is probably why they all feel so samey/repetitive, it's just all the popular stories of this general genre.

The author's the same one who wrote Though I Am An Inept Villainess, about the 2 body switching noblewomen who go on adventures in ancient not-China, which has been quite successful.

So for them to produce this story, they must have been really writing in the fly.

Even that one is only yuri about half the time. (For those complaining that the stories here don't fit the premise well enough, you wouldn't believe how rarely I'm the Villainess, but I'm Being Captured by the Heroine!? actually involves the villainess being captured by the heroine...)

Funny you should mention that. I'm the Villainess, but I'm Being Captured by the Heroine!? vol 3 ch 5 (not translated) is a cinderella oneshot but yuri, for anyone disappointed how this chapter turned out.
