Pretty good volume, but this last one stood out as being a weak entry

The """villainess""" is cute but this story is just tropes for the sake of having tropes. We got the green tea bitch isekai'd protag. We got the original fiance believing said protag because ??? We got the hidden character. We got the actual love interest who says that everything went according to keikaku. I'm sympathizing with the isekaid protag here, cause I have to assume that the actual game is much more different. The "villainess" is charming enough for me to let it slide though
yeah this chapter went back to being bad, after such great last chapter, it fits perfectly well in the mediocre vol 9

A different flavor of airhead villainess that you don't see that often lol. Pretty nice chapter, feels like a proper version of what the first chapter in the anthology wants to be.

People complaining like these are all supposed to break some kind of mold, when they're all just one shot stories. Like yes this is full of clichés but it's just meant too be silly and not think to hard about it.

Just sit back and relax, it's not that deep.
See I feel like one shots are a great opportunity to break the mold because you don't have to worry about sustainability.

It's a lot easier to come up with an interesting twist on an established formula if you only need a chapter's worth of material.

Feel like they should have just turned this villainess up to 11 so the plot was her steamrolling over everyone.

Vol. 9 was rather meh compared to previous volumes, I hope future vols live up to the previous ones.

I think I'd actually be somewhat interested in seeing this story be expanded on some more. Maybe something along the lines of the 'god' giving that Heroine 'knowledge of the future' in the form of her meta knowledge also giving Iria 'knowledge of the past' in the form of a library of magic. I think it would be really nice to see a Female Lead actually holding no romantic feelings for others and instead trying to look after them.

I think such a perspective could be really interesting, most people who get as strong as she seems to be are either strong from the start, or a reincarnate who understood the need for strength from the start. I wonder what Iria's reason for growing so strong was, since she apparently worked extremely hard to get to where she is. What is the goal that made her start learning? Was she given knowledge of a threat? Was she attacked when young and weak? Is she a magical musclehead who just really enjoys working out her magic power and learning new spells?

As it is I'd say that the story itself is lacking, it has no real background for her strength which is an issue because she seems to be the personification of 'mercy is the right of the strong' and is taking full advantage of it. But if this was extended a bit, if we learned a bit more about her reasons, I'd love to see her taking the world by storm after she's freed from the restraints of that toxic relationship.
