@osqmu Yes, you're mistaking the prince with his 2 followers for Libert. Libert's only "follower" was shown in this chapter talking with him. I say "follower" because they're both commoners so they don't really have followers like the nobles do.

That's a stupid thing to say. It's generally an argument used by villains and people who have zero concept of empathy. Just because helping others does make the helper feel good about themselves, that doesn't mean that's the reason they helped others. starting to read the novel now and I love that our MC is an intelligent and logical person instead of your herp derp get a harem unintentionally and too stupid and dense to realize it. He knows his Lady has feelings for him but doesn't make a move because he knows that their positions are too different and because he isn't a pedo that conveniently forgot that he's a lot older and reincarnated.
