It still feel that the romance is weird with all the game mechanic having obviously helped MC with her love. It seem fake, which is sad because of how cute she is with her love.

She rushed to remove the flower that were of the prefered color of her fiancée... It's not hard to understand how he would not like it. If you remove something with the prefered color of the one you're supposed to love, and replace it with another color, the person will feel bad about it.

That's not even talking about how most women would be massively pissed by something like this.
