Also, I relate so much with him!! I tend to always forget the names of even my classmates who I've been together with for almost a year now. The worst thing is when they remember your name. I find it especially hard to ask girls of their names twice...so I just end up avoiding conversations with them and that's how I'm still single...probably.

@TransPanda1 In some Visual Novels, the story allows the player to hear some of the thoughts of the other characters. The player character obviously can't hear those thoughts, but if it's important to the story the player themselves can. Just depends on if the character's thoughts are relevant in some way and provide an important piece of info or provide some kind of comedic effect. It's pretty uncommon, though, so it's very likely that the daughter in this instance can't read the villainess's thoughts and thus doesn't know what her father as said villainess is trying to accomplish.

@Walter_vi_Britannia It gets worse when your an adult and have to remember names at work. When I was young I worked jobs with people wearing name tags, like in retail or fast food, it was such a cheat I loved it. Now I work full time and no one wears a name tag at my grown up job. 😑 I'm now that eccentric person who calls people sir and ma'am, young lady or some generic nick name.
