Been a few years since this chapter came out, but my thoughts on the name are as such:
(This is all "in English")
"Addie" is pronounced "AA-dee"
While "Adi" is probably closer to "ah-DEE" (similar to "Adib")
And since it's a shortened name, "Addie" is probably the best choice.
