Well, that tanuki's got some really useful... ballsack. Heck, even Ghibli has some ballsack action in one of their films. That image of pulling out her weapon out of the nutsack
She's carrying around her all-purpose bartending backpack first featured in ch12 and, according to the dialogue in said chapter, she keeps the ice inside a thermos. So how is Naori carrying around ice? Doesn't look like she has some kind of insulation method to keep it from melting...
They aren't human. That is one big reason. Humans fear the different and powerful. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.quick question: aside from eating human (which I assume was something orges did), what horrible things did orges to that justify enslaving them for thousand of years and possibly forever?
anw, thanks for the chapter
not the answer I was looking for. Anyone can say something vague, but I'm looking for detailed reasons. They aren't human. That is one big reason. Humans fear the different and powerful. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
The story is based on the legend and tales of Shuten-Doji (Mikage, for example, is referred to as Ibaraki-Doji, which I understand is a player loyal to Shuten-Doji in the tales, etc). It's Japanese so I don't think they feel the need to fill their target audience in on the common history of Oni and specifically the figures they are based on. I also don't feel the need for specifics beyond that because having read a lot of manga about the tales of oni, I can also imagine what they did in the past.not the answer I was looking for. The characters keep hinting that orges are terrible, but without any actual examples.
and they keep trying to maintain the master-slave between human-orges without explaining why the status should be kept. If anything, the slaves (orges) should be fighting against it, but from the last arc, we see that not only do they not fight against it, they actively work to keep it??
I will do some research on this, thanks. The story is based on the legend and tales of Shuten-Doji. yeah I get thisAs for "not fighting against it," I think my earlier comment partially discusses that. To put it simply: they are upholding traditions that have been in place for some time and have allowed a comfortable status quo to form,
what I don't get is this. Logically I fail to see why revoting against human can be bad. However, we haven't seen what exactly can the human do to the orges (other than the drinking curse), so maybe I should be patient for now.and they all seem to fear what breaking that status quo might cause. They don't imagine that the grass is greener.
Well, probably what keeps us humans from rebelling against other humans; violence, lots of violence. However, we haven't seen what exactly can the human do to the orges (other than the drinking curse), so maybe I should be patient for now.
What can ogres do to humans tho? The drinking curse literally keeps them weak, they literally CANT get their power ups without a human's assistance and the humans only give them enough to be "comfortable"I will do some research on this, thanks.
