I'm normally a sucker for fluffy romance stuff, and this story does that great, but honestly it has gotten even better when it hasn't been the main focus. The ogre storyline is actually really doing it for me, and the author really knows how to handle people's issues leading them into conflict in a compelling manner. The character development is mostly accepting and working around imperfections, rather than "overcoming" them, which feels much more mature than a lot of stories I read. Sakata might even be my favorite character, I really like the direction her story has gone so far. I am also enjoying the lack of romantic rivals.
