Just curious, was this advertised as "girl's love" or was it something the uploader's chose to put this manga under said genre?
it had to be, the title and everything else is way too much for this to just be "two girls living together"

I'm normally a sucker for fluffy romance stuff, and this story does that great, but honestly it has gotten even better when it hasn't been the main focus. The ogre storyline is actually really doing it for me, and the author really knows how to handle people's issues leading them into conflict in a compelling manner. The character development is mostly accepting and working around imperfections, rather than "overcoming" them, which feels much more mature than a lot of stories I read. Sakata might even be my favorite character, I really like the direction her story has gone so far. I am also enjoying the lack of romantic rivals.

They aren't going to send Hinata and that Sakata girl to buy some right? She won't be able to hold them...

I wonder if in ogre culture 'bartender' is the title for a human spouse. A comment above about them kissing in the first chapter had me looking back and as soon as Naori has accepted the position of bartender, Hinata moves in without warning because why would you have to ask your new spouse to move in with her.

You don't need romantic rivals and all those tropes when you actually have a real plot to work through and an actual cast of characters with goals and depth that you can focus on to fill time. Isn't that crazy? The issue is that stuff takes writing care and ability so it's a bit rare. I like that this is a writer and an artist combo.

The series is listed as Yuri/Girl's Love on the current publisher's website.
Not as important but to add a little: YuriNavi also follows, catalogues it and the authors retweet and thank YuriNavi all the time. But even if they didn't, this is not a subtle romance, right? We literally have a guy asking Hinata to basically put a ring on it, this chapter alone (forget all the other stuff). So labels don't matter here.

Wait a second, isn't Isuzu underage? If she isn't allowed to drink, then she can't legally buy it right? Unless I'm forgetting something, they shouldn't have requested her to order the alcohol in the first place.

Isuzu not being honest about being happy to be dressed cute is such a fucking mood :nyoron:
