You'd think that if they can have a human guaranteed to loop, they'd just use her to carry strategic intel into the past until they come up with a plan that beats the mimics.

The mimics seem to have one flaw that humans don't have: they can't stop the time loops once they're satisfied with a success, but humans can (by destroying the mimic network).

Could also be a false flaw, and the mimics CAN select which victory is "best"
