You know usually I dislike the standard sociopathic manhua MC but this one is too much of a fucking saint. Zhao tried to desecrate his parents grave, called him a liar, had him thrown in prison after accusing him of attempted murder, tried to have him raped and for some reason the MC puts up with all his shit with no retribution at all, in fact he does him a fucking favour. Then the same thing with his roommates bitch girlfriend. He's too much of a doormat, it basically undermines the entire premise for me.

Excellent translation job by the way, really refreshing after all the MTL dross.

These are not even good wish fulfillment, That would require at least the illusion of effort. I can't see how this would make losers feel good. If anything it would remind them of all the sliver spoon winners.
Much better is a story with trails and failures then the pleasure of finally winning against all odds by the skin of your teeth but still knowing there is more work to do. Those are MCs i want to cheer on.

Would recommend this piece of garbage over the other ones as the one redeeming factor it has over the other "cultivator immortal god doctor in modern city" is that the art and action is at least serviceable and not absolute dogshit.
