I like that the girls here are a bit thicker than the typical manga standard. I don't think this was necessarily the artist's intention, but it adds a slight bit of realism. After all, it makes sense that a bunch of pastry shop workers wouldn't be thin.

I'm not one of those people who normally whines about fictional characters having unrealistic body types but it would be nice to see more artists give characters body types that actually match their life style. I always thought it was a bit silly when a character who supposedly eats sweets all the time looks like a Victoria's Secret model. It's nice to see a manga buck that trend even though I'm pretty sure the artist wasn't thinking about that at all and just likes thick thighs, lol.
