The game is very different from this story. Here, the ML stole her only after she had broken things off. He even refused to do anything with her at the love hotel specifically because the two of them were stillt echnically together.

But then… the entire point of the game Mitsuki played was

the MC of that game goes out with Kotoha (or another of the love interests) and then Ryou rapes and mindbreaks all of them!
Sure, once he’s sent into the game, he only goes out with Kotoha, and nothing’s happened to her (so far), so there isn’t actually any netorare (yet), but as I said last time, the game creates a weird secondhand netorare situation
And the focus of the manga is still netorare, which is what I was referencing initially

I have read the first volume and it's peak in my opinion... I mean for a a rom-com. So far not to much drama and no annoying harem, ntr, or love triangle stuff which I hope it stays that way considering the author's reputation. If it does however I may take a page out of Ted Kaczynski's book and send some fan mail.
