@maddery, right, so like, when you write a response which says this character who basically everyone agrees has very reasonable needs wrt intimacy and affection is clearly a sex addict, that sounds less like a critique of the manga, and more like you have issues surrounding women and sexual expression.

You yourself have said that its as though the author has written the two spouses as intentionally unsympathetic, so why wouldn't you just make that your main critique? Just say that they feel like caricatures meant to justify infidelity, instead of trying to say that, actually, its the main character who's the villain, because wanting to have sex any time in a two year time frame means that you're mentally ill. Like you can totally critique the writing! but if you try to twist the text to do that it makes you look silly and sort of backwards. You can say that cheating is indefensible under any circumstances, like people will disagree but you can say that! you can say that you feel like this manga is cheating propaganda or whatever, but acting like someone is actually mentally ill for wanting to have a marriage where they're intimate with their spouse, when they're shown trying to communicate with their spouse to that end to no avail isn't really a reasonable critique of the text or even cheating itself

@sleepyknight You seemed to have problem with reading comprehension, since you kept on falsely accused me for having issues surrounding women and sexual expression, of which I am not. I repeat, I have problem with her thoughts because I found it disturbing. I have no problem with nympho either. I have never like character whose entire thoughts revolves only around one thing/person that they can't seem to function without it/them. I do not discriminate either gender when it comes to hate. Heck I don't even like males that much. Fyi, I don't even like Niina since this chapter (and vol. 4) confirmed my suspicion that there is something wrong with him too. In fact, I hate both Michi and Niina. I'm neutral towards You because I can somewhat understand why he's not as intimate as before, and I sympathize with Kaede because she is innocent.

Michi's marriage is called sexless for a reason y'know. Some people just don't want to have sex, period. Maybe because they have low sex drive, or maybe because the love or passion they used to have towards their spouse have already faded. Since Michi can't have it from You anymore and they are obviously unable to communicate as well as before, why continue to stay with him? Why keep on torturing yourself over this? Just divorce him and move on. There is no need to treat You and Kaede as 'villains' just to justify Michi and Niina cheating later on. Just stop. And depression is considered mentally ill.

How is it disturbing to want to have sex with your spouse... Usually when people are in love they want to be intimate with each other. When you're deprived of that for 2 years, you're going to feel neglected, yeah. The reason she doesn't want to get a divorce is because she still has feelings for her husband and wants their marriage to work out.

I would like to say all of them are at fault and should discuss their problems. One side for not explaining themselves clearly well and the other for not ending their relationships if none of them are happy.

The woman is confusing me she avoids her husband the husband tried to tell her not to ignore him then the woman for the past chapters just shrug off her husband now she again wants attention from her husband. The phone message of her husband seemeed so unimportant to her but her senior not. feeling like a highschool girl who have a crush on her senior. I blame niina too for meddling too much of the girls life.
