I do feel kind of bad for her after that last chapter she was in, even though she's really more of a foil than a genuine rival.

I wouldn't say that this chapter is useless as we did learn something pretty important, even if it does spin the series in a really odd way. Like instead of a sex android developing beyond her initial functions into a more fully realized entity, she's designed as a lesbian Stepford Wife? That's... something...

Loved that at as soon as it was mentioned, Akane saw herself pregnant not once but twice. Once due to the shock at the sudden reveal would be understandable but when you're seeing a scene of a loving wife and daughter with another on the way, kinda sounding like something you want. Thanks for translating.

Actually, I know I shouldn't expected much with a manga that has that haremish kinda feeling to it. The MCs in this type of manga always have the same features: indecisive, shy, low-esteem, etc. I stopped watching harem animes a long time ago, but this shit came back to haunt me... The MC get the love of the love interests for no apparent reason, I guess Jun does have a bit of a reason? But Nadeshiko's love just kinda fell from the sky.

No matter how little of a damn I give about Jun’s obviously doomed from the start attempt at being a love rival for a childhood friend who’s known her since BIRTH (seriously akane watched her grow up from a baby and been a caretaker for years, dating someone you probably changed the diapers of is too weird), I’m starting to hate everything about the bot and her psycho mother.

This entire operation is literally one big baby trap by some crazy scientist willing to upend the life of any unsuspecting person, she fleeced Mc out of 5 mill, sent a functionally sentient robot to their house with no manual (akane finding that qr code was pure luck), has been meddling in Mc’s life solely to push the baby trap plan forward and is actively encouraging the bot to interfere as well which is fucking up akane’s work life and her relationship with jun, who is considered an important friend.

No matter how pushy or lame jun is for trying to force her way into a plot that doesn’t need her I’m honestly so turned off by the bot’s mother being involved that I don’t care, praying akane realizes how fucked this is and puts some distance between herself and these freaks
