Sometimes I wonder with MTL scanlators. Are they native english speakers? Because if they are, then at least they'll try to make the translations readable and make sense from the context given by the drawing and the translation itself. But this one feels like they just slap it to Google Translate then slap it back to the text bubble.

It's honestly entertaining reading shojo/manwhas, and reading Shonen like this, and watching how the love interests are introduced and gain feelings. It's two different types of throwing themselves at the main character. Both have their trash, and it's Interesting to see how they fantasize differently and similarly.

Shonen could learn from manwhas though, they generally know how to make attractive female love interests without attaching massive balloons to a stick figure and calling it a day.

I am absolutely lost with this power scaling. It makes no sense.

Yeahhhh.... Forget Level 8, 18, or even 28. The highest level difficulty of this was just trying to make sense on what was happening. I'll maybe give this another shot if it's picked up by a more dedicated TL team, but until then, I'm good with passing on this for now.

The story feels like its finding its footing. Pacing is better with a nicer balance of non-combative stuff the MC can’t do like these investigations and then just having the MC go ham against the bigger threats.

Leanne is somehow more infuriating. The MC realized his sister isn’t normal so hopefully she does the same. Thinking someone likes you because they saved you is just entitled (you also wouldn’t have needed to be saved if you weren’t an idiot and tried to take on a threat you couldn’t handle… just saying).

The translation is… yikes. Shouldn’t machine translation mean there’s more time to proofread and make sure the translation flows naturally and makes sense? The problem with machine translators is accuracy but they don’t strip away the ability to form coherent sentences.

That's not a kodachi. That's like a Rambo type survival knife.
