Especially his sister. She very clearly know how they each feel about each other. She could literally say ONE thing to Hinako and it could help advance the relationship. But instead it feels like she views them as entertainment and enjoys messing with her brother too much.

Part of it is kind of on Hinako too though. She’s said that Asahi is just like a brother to her. This makes it impossible for Asahi to be the one to make the first move. Bro got family zoned hard and doesn’t want to ruin what they currently have.

Shes kinda right, much of the relationship not progressing is tsukkos fault. Tho i dont think shell ever have to experience any consequences for that, which is a bit frustrating.
Of course, the two dumbasses also bear some of the blame(hinako more than asahi imo), but its one thing being in the dark about someones feelings and try to be careful not to ruin a friendship and an entirely different thing to know everything thats going on and not only do nothing to help the situation but then also actively sabotage it(and somehow try to shift the blame on your little brother). But ig this needs to be an extra slow burn so we can press out as many chapters as possible and then end the manga right wjen they start dating.
