First of all, I love that little moment at the start with people noticing Segawa smiling for (what seems like) the first time because of Koumoto, it was just really cute.

Then, that whole boyfriend announcement EVENT/COUNCIL MEETING (it was so bombastic lol) got me laughing out loud, especially with the other girl just completely freaking out about it.

As for the dude confessing. Jeeeeeeez, get a clue. When Segawa said "did you need something?" I thought pretty much the same thing the kid said next "wowww what a cold response", but then the dude goes and confesses anyway?? And later Segawa mentions they didn't really talk when they were in the same class... Yeah, sounds about right, like a dude just totally loving a made-up version of a girl in his head instead of actually getting to know her and liking that. Not that I can blame him too much, cause that's often what people do at that age.

And the ending? Heart-wrenching until we got to a INCREDIBLY SURPRISING happy twist! Wow!

Can't wait for the next chapter, no matter when it arrives! No wonder they do this as a passion project, cause it's full of it (passion, I mean)!

@Src5jaya @MoonlightwolfchanX given the context (talking about romance, after witnessing a confession, and possibly hating someone for liking you in that way specifically), I don't see how it would be a different "like". I know general yuri manga nonsense, but considering this manga isn't a "normal" one that's regularly updated, I think it's pretty likely that the author would want to move things along, as opposed to delaying progression, otherwise it'll never be finished (not that I want it to end, ofc, but I'm sure the author wants it to have a good ending some day and, for that, we need some decently-paced progression).

EDIT: oh, also, there's the fact she said "you called me your friend and ever since then I've been wondering what I should do, because I like you". That phrasing would make no sense if the "like" was just referring to a mere "friendship like".

Oh, Ibu-chan's gay as hell for that gal, huh. But OH MAN, what a confession! I'm SO glad things got sorted out in this one chapter and not in 5 more of misunderstandings and all the stuff we all know happens on yuri by now. It really hurt for Umi to say all that and for Segawa to get so defensive, even though she was probably in fact trying to reassure Umi that she did not like boys (but did like her), and probably thought Umi would not like her so she kept it hidden. Ah, what a chapter. It was well-written, I love this manga.

Hoooo my god i didn't know progression like that was allowed in manga, i'm glad but also wow does this chapter make your chest feel tight and hurt a bit, the author was pretty nice to not end the chapter right before the hug happened, that would have been bad

Seriously though, when she started asking "what if," and it's just so obvious that she's actually asking about herself, my heart was pleading for it not to turn into a drawn out misunderstanding. I can't remember the last time I felt so thrilled to read the last page of something.
