Honestly, it feels like the action in this manga kind of sucks. It's disjointed, discombobulated and feels more like it's just there as background for dialog...

Annoys me because this world they've built has so much potential for cool action that's focused on, instead of being just a narrative device the author feels like they have to do... which is what it feels like now.

For me, it's just like an endless game of "UNO Reverse card"
When it happens once, it's cool! When it happens again, it's less cool. Everytime after that, it's just eye-rolling.

But yeah, more action less words would do a world of good. Talk when it's time to talk, fight when it's time to fight.

i'd give this series another chance. it's the first antagonist of the series so they either want to overpower him, or want the MC to be less overpowered initially by having him actually struggle at first. it feels like some folks here have grown to one-chapter battles and forgotten the age of battles taking volumes to start and finish. i still feel positive about the series, the art is great, the battles (albeit complex) don't feel out of touch and there's actually some suspense mixed in.

Really we are pulling another "I was only using 10% of my power the whole time" even though they panicked earlier to attacks. This is all inept writing also I'm to believe the assassin can't kill the guy and ofcourse the enemy has an auto shield that stopped all attacks. Also a 2sec shield isn't gonna protect you from a barrage of bombs surely. Authors shouldn't write 4d chess characters when they can't think even in basic story telling.

Also the paneling here is aweful, the combats are hard to visualise cause of the flow and transitions between panels.
