People's complaints got me interested, so I looked it up. The light novel only has 2 volumes that came out in mid 2020, and nothing since. I guess by that you know why the artist is dragging it out.

We're not even done with the first volume yet...

deleted. MD doesn't delete for sniping, but will delete if quality is too low, which while they were not good translations by any means, they were still better than many mtl's that get left alone here. Maybe do to the last two pages having duplicates. Still doesn't feel right, should have stayed up till GDS posted their better quality ones. Hopefully it wasn't GDS reporting them and getting competition deleted. It could also have been a self delete.

Is mangaups quality that low? It was moderately proofread mtl, not the worst by any means, but not good. Enough for a sniper baiting GDS for stockpiling, but if that is a licensed effort that is appalling.

as someone who hasn't actually read mangaup chapters myself. I've heard many times about how they aren't very good, so it's still likely

I felt like this manga had a lot of potential but good grief the pacing, and as some have mentioned the insane jumping the shark of scale.

With what he said, this first boss magician guy is more powerful than even the highest level PC sorcerers from when it was an MMO. And seemingly but a very big margin.
