Everything else was a distraction.Woah. Epic.
Didn't look like an assassination, though.
The true attack was the needle one (from those mouse) at the end of the fight.

Nah, Ninja are basically versatile mercenaries and in legends, they were also wizards... jack of all trades.Ninja's aren't supposed to be flashy either, but we still got a highly popular series like Naruto.
It wasn't just the flashiness, but the fact that this was the first battle and first chance to show off our boy as an assassins. As stylish as the art is, there was hardly any clarity during the action scenes this chapter. Ended up feeling like a Michael Bay flick.
All those epic attacks weren't distractions. All of them were intended to kill. The needle was not the true attack, but rather the true trump card.Everything else was a distraction.

A true assassin is a "any means necessary" kind of guy, I guess? Plans don't always go as expected, so if it comes down to pummeling the target's face, you better bruise your knuckles.I thought assassins weren't supposed to be flashy like that?
The needle was the original plan that was put on hold when the MC found out about the target's divine protection barrier. The true trump card was the Soul Destruction spell, but when it failed the MC saw that the barrier was destroyed and he switched back to his original poison needle plan. All those epic attacks weren't distractions. All of them were intended to kill. The needle was not the true attack, but rather the true trump card.
At the end of the day, an assassination is basically a guy being killed. If the target's dead, it doesn't matter if he was killed in his sleep, or if the city he's in explodes. Dead is dead.I thought assassins weren't supposed to be flashy like that?
I read the official release on mangaup months ago so maybe thats whereyou saw it?Huh, I've read this before. Is this a reupload or was that a removed snipe?
You say that, but there's also sometimes stipulations in the contract. If the target's dead, it doesn't matter if he was killed in his sleep, or if the city he's in explodes. Dead is dead.
