@boldmonkey Yea, both main characters are annoying and flawed in a way, but you are seeing them slowly change (through extreme denial though) so they're more or less perfect for each other.

Though I like the blonde boy so far. I wonder who he is trying to woo.

I don't mind fujoshi characters at all-- let people have their fantasies, so long as they're not forcing anyone to act it it out it's all good. Sure, as characters they're a bit overplayed, but I've definitely met gals with a strong interest in irl shipping of guys.
Honestly if anything I feel a bit sorry for them in stories like this and wonder how they feel when the main (invariably straight) couple gets together. Hopefully they can distance fantasy from reality and just be happy for them

This chapter was fun because of her perspective though. also, interesting way to create a setup.
